We’ll bicycle through lavender landscapes that have inspired great artists. Cycle alongside pungent fields of thyme, rosemary, and sage. Sample plump, briny olives and earthy truffles in the sun-bathed markets of St. Remy. Play petanque with locals in the town square. Then, of course, there is the Provence wine – a symphony of bold reds and elegant whites that sing on your palette. Every day we’ll encounter vestiges of ancient Rome, medieval hilltop villages, and miles of lush green vineyards. You might even be surprised by the ruggedly beautiful terrain of the garrigue and Les Alpilles, where favored local vineyards thrive. And at the close of each day, we settle into luxurious maisons and auberges, oases of beauty and calm.
